In response to the OP, I love living in the Bos-Wash corridor because on any given Saturday I can leave home at an early hour and either see the Liberty Bell, the National Capitol, the Statue of Liberty, or the US Naval Academy and still be back home for a late dinner.

The Northeast megalopolis is full of people. Slipknot has a song called "People = ****." Therefore, the Northeast megalopolis must be full of ****.

Because the prophetic words of Slipknot are to be taken as gospel.

Oh what the ****. You do realize in a SHTF type situation like a viral outbreak the federal government would nuke the megapolis in a heart beat vs the plain states right? You also do realize if it wasn't for as you call it "secondary" areas of the country like Pittsburgh cities like NYC and wouldn't be what they are today and culturally for better or worse California is more dominate right now then the Northeast because of Hollywood. Then there is the fact the South has been growing much faster then the Northeast and could very well displace it entirely as far as how important the regions are economically to the nation.

For the record I live in the "Northeast" (whatever the hell that means) and I find your statement beyond arrogant.

No not prophecy but there is some truth to it though if we are being honest with ourselves.

Isn't Slipknot from Iowa? What happened to make him so jaded with people in Iowa?
