Loving v. Virginia settled this more than 50 years ago. This is still an issue?
Yeah because inbread idiots make it an issue. Then other idiots are surprised that inbred idiots act like idiots so the other idiots think all white people are inbred idiots. -If any of that made sense
Actually, I think it is the opposite. It still seems to be more taboo when it is a Black male and White woman, and it seems like you see more White men and Black women on TV. I think history has a lot to do with it and when sex is involved, it becomes even more sensitive.
Also, it seems like some combinations are accepted more than others. Couples that are: White male/Asian female and Black male/"Hispanic" female seem to be accepted more than others couples, in terms of interracial couples.
White man and aisian woman couples are accepted to the point that it's almost the norm. Black male and hispanic female couples are accepted ussually if it's a Puerto Rican or Dominican female.

LOL calls people inbreds and can't even spell it. Lovely.
Although I'm not one who GENERALLY gets upset when I see a white man dating a black woman, once you see this happen much more often that the "opposite" direction, or even a compensatory pairing (Black male & Latino Female/Asian Female), I can see why many black males would get very frustrated. Where I currently go to school right now, the situation above is usually how everyday life is. And believe me, after years of consistent anti-black male sentiment I've dealt with FROM EVERY ANGLE, that gets just as old as the "every white is a racist" rant, if not even older!

not to say some people didn't object to this, but it was still very, very common even going back to the 50s. Hell, even seeing Mike and Steve kissing on the streets was very, very common back in the 50s.
How does this affect anybody elses life? It really doesn't. Unless, of course, they are JEALOUS.
What I don't understand is why white women and black men get upset at folks in certain areas when they bring a child into the world that is mixed, and it has no friends. Didn't they think about that before they chose to mix? I know, lots of places see no difference in mixing color, but alot of places still do and mixed kids get called 'half porch' by lots of other kids, and never really fit in.
I can care less how folks mix race if it don't involve my family, but for the kids sake, why mix race knowing what the poor kid will have to go through in life? Not every town, or county in America is deverse or believes in mixing race. Most everyone in three counties in my neck of the woods were raised to be kind to others, but to marry within their own race. I'm sure if it's that way here, it's still that way in other places to.

i mean..., most of the mixed kids i went to jr. high and high school with got along just fine with everyone and nobody really messed with them. And besides people should be able to marry who they want. just my 2 cents.
