This is terrible, i'm sick of the pointless racism.. seriously

I'm white and my wife is black and we're ok in our area but when we go to a wealthier white town and go out to eat or something we get stares and whispers here and there and the fake look behind to act like they're looking at a picture or summin just to take a look at us, same goes for predominant black towns.
I mean if we made a baby and we both can have a conversation, doesn't that make us human.

And don't get me started with the old people who constantly ask if my daughter is adopted, and when they here the answer they're shocked beyond belief with there phony reaction.

America is the biggest melting pot yet we're one of the racist countries ???
I wish this racist crap would end and we'd all see we're the human race

And P.S... i'm on vacation now in Alaska and the people realize it's a cultural shock to see a WM/BW together but they aren't against it at all because racial issues around AK aren't an issue like it is in a lot of the bottom 48.

People need to realize that we are not living in the old times anymore. It is 2009. It is a time of change. In this year, a black president was elected. So I strongly believe that people need to start changing the views of races, because no matter how much they do not like it, these changes are going to occur no matter what. Oh yes change is coming... so people be ready..

Well even in so-called "liberal" states such as New York and California have racial problems.

The bad thing is that the biggest idiots always seem to kick up the most dust, why is that?

Yeah, good point. Jesus has risen. Do you think Obama can help us get a manned craft on mars?

I hope all you racial experts understand that kissing a black woman in the hood could get you shot, right? Oh, I'm sorry, was that racist for me to say? Get over it people, everyone is racist.

A picture like this, even in 2009, will bring out the lunatic fringe. But that is what they are...the fringe. I refuse to believe that the average American gives a damn about this.

Not to bring back past wounds, but even though a certain Effect didn't prevent Obama from winning, the reaction from an effin' front cover showing an interracial couple just shows substantial evidence that the Effect caused him this state. But then again, the supposed "swing state that accurately determined the POTUS" was actually wrong for once, which shows that at least a few parts of the country have moved on.

Just wondering if this uproar would've happen if it was an White Male/Asian Female (or White Male/any non-white female for that matter) on the cover?
