Here in N La where I live most everything has bloomed out except some of the pecan trees aren't fully bloomed out yet. And I see some other kind of tree that has buds but no blooms yet. Not sure what that tree is but I've seen several of them. It seems a bit late this year for what it usually is. The last freeze was around 20th of March and some light frost on April 1st.

Here we are usually completely bloomed out by now but I think when we had that awful ice storm it thgrew off some of the trees so we have some that are just starting to bloom. Most have bloomed out though, I am so glad my azalea bushes and dogwoods are bloomed!!!

Must be nice. Our last freeze usually isn't until May 30th.
We can have frosts in June around here, but it is going to be above 80F this weekend.
Here in the Twin Cities, we are supposed to hit 80 today . Talked to my mom in the FL Panhandle last night and they haven't seen 80 yet this spring. (That's more a testament to the Central US's fickle weather, though. We'll be back in the 50s/60s early next week! ) When looking at the trees from a distance, you can see a faint green budding on them, and my crab tree has lots of nice little red leaves all over it. Most of the lawns you see are green (unless they were hit with snow mold )

Yeah, I'm liking the weather. Mid to upper 80's this weekend, then 70's for the remainder of the 7 day outlook.

Uhhh.... it was 80 quite a few times in March in Tallahassee, quite a bit in April and it hit 90 for a high the other day...
They've already seen 80 on many occasions in the FL Panhandle this Spring...
First buddings: Anywhere from March 20-25, on average
Small leaves on some trees, none on others: March 25-April 10
Full leaves on some, small leaves on others: April 10-April 20
Full leaves on most, very few without full leaves: April 21-May 5
Full leaves on all: May 6- November 1
Leaves falling: November 2-December 1
Bare Trees: December 2-March 20
Total time bare: 3.5-4.5 months, depending on tree.
Total time with leaves: 7.5-8.5 months
