I like Ladue, MO, a suburb of St. Louis. It's a wealthy little town, HUGE houses (one was 30,000 sq ft!), nice shops, hilly, and lots of trees. It was snowing when we were there, my friends said it reminded them of a ski resort town. The inner-ring suburbs are nice in general

Not at all. KC is a hard city to make friends in and I lived there many years. I would say the people tend to be have a friendly facade, but aren't really interested in anything more than that. Passive-agressiveness and inferiority complexes tend to be somewhat common traits as well. However, overarrching personality traits of particular geographic locales are hard to generalize.

My mama was very ill, I was with her most of the day for over a month, but she is MUCH better, shes a tough old gal!
