You've probably all heard the saying that a lot of Americans live within a short distance of their birthplace. I can't remember the exact percentages and numbers, plus they vary by source. But let's see just how close the people on city-data live to their birthplace.
I live about 90 miles from my birthplace, but that will soon change to about 2,000 miles.
Currently 23 miles from the hospital I was born. I've never lived any further.
