I am looking to find a small town (under 1000) by the water, either lake or ocean. Ocean preferred. It needs to be in an area that experiences all 4 seasons. Anyone got a suggestion for such a place?

That's a pretty broad description, but the first place that came to mind was the coast of Maine (east of Bath). There are tons of little villages up and down the coast. The further north/east you go, the more isolated the towns become.

You get cool and comfortable springs, amazing warm summers, one of the most beautiful autumns in the world, and a winter where it snows on the beach!

I am sorry it is so vague. That is what is making it difficult for me to narrow down an area. I work for a writer who has decided that would be the best kind of place to move. You have helped alot.
