I live in eastern Pennsylvania near the NJ border. I voted for July because I love the lush green of the myriad of plant and tree species and I love the humidity. Yes I know I'm crazy to love humidity but it wouldn't feel like home in the summer without it.

San Antonio
late February to mid-April - pleasant temperatures and all the wildflowers blooming
mid/late October to December - cooler, crisper air starts to settle in for the season, more sunny mornings than the rest of the year it seems like.

Mid-April to mid-October is an acquired taste with the constant heat.

When I lived in southern Germany, my favorite months were May and December.

May because everything was blooming, and so cool and fresh and green and lush that it was hard to even take it all in. The air was amazing.

December because Germany does Christmas up right - and has the weather to accompany it. Snow flurries in the air nearly all the time, frosty mornings, days so cold and bright that you can see ice particles glinting in the pale sunlight, and to top that all off, most of the country looks like a Christmas card anyway!

January because of the bright snowcover and finally cold enough to enjoy all winter activities outside instead of looking at brown grass and trees with no leaves!

In philly, I like December. It just feels great. Everyone in a nice holiday mood, family dinner, lights, decorations, time off, snow, hot chocolate and baked cookies while watching all the Charlie Brown, Christmas flicks, and Home Alone you can. To me, I don't even care if I get a present for Christmas, I just love December. I love December! I might decorate my apartment this year, didn't get a chance to last year ...

And people seem a lot more friendly in December. Trust me on that one, even my worst enemy has a laugh with me during the holidays and it feels so awkward but it also feels fresh.

February, March and August are my least favorite. I Like all the rest, with mid April thru mid May and mid September thru mid October being really spectacular.

Now that I live in the Bay Area I'll probably say Septemeber since it's when San Francisco has it's best weather usually.
