Why?

I like December the best because of the Holiday vibe and all the dec up for the season. I also love the brisk cool to cold air and the occasional snow shower that goes with it.

September for me. Tourists are gone for the most part and we get to enjoy our area without having to deal with them. Plus it is still Summer temps during the day, and cooler evenings.

In Seattle, the best months are July and August. Not the case in most places.

Where I live now, in the Rockies, the best month is right now, in June. I like the relatively cool temps, and the thunderstorms. No need for AC, just open up those windows!

In the South, here are the best months, in order:

Mid-March to June 30th. Pretty much heaven on earth.
Late September to November 15. Like wise.
July, August, September. Not bad, as long as you have a swimming pool, lake, or beach handy.
November 15-February 15. Just dreary. Not even snow. Just cold, wet, and overcast most of the time.

Here in MN: June! Everything is so green, no humidity yet, cool nights, sleep with the windows open, so many blooms, air smells like perfume, skies so incredibly blue. Gotta love it.

Definitely October. The cool breezes, crisp blue skies, the autumn scent in the air... and of course the amazingly beautiful colors.

Runners-up are May, June, and December.

April. The flowers comes out, everything's green, and the weather's wonderful with the occasional thunderstorm.
Perfect for hiking, kayaking, swimming at Barton Springs, or attending Marley Fest.
