Since the sports section isn't as popular as here, I'd figure I'd ask here.

For all you people who've experienced your hometeam win a national championships in any of the 4 major sports...I am curious to see how the parades were?

Philadelphia Phillies won the world series and 2 million attended the parade. I think that is insane and shows how Philly loves its sports.

I also heard Steelers parade had like 200-300,000 ppl. I am curious to know how many ppl showed up at the Red Sox parade as well as the White Sox parade

3.2 million toast Red Sox at wet parade - Baseball- nbcsports.msnbc.com

pics from boston.com

it was this crowded the entire length of the parade (7miles) and even bigger downtown.

we've also had the sox again in 07, patriots 01, 03, 04 and the celts in 08.

the Patriot victory parade in 01 had 1.5 mil, the celts in 08 had 1mil plus as well.

Its a been a grand time to be a boston fan.
