I know they are tourists when they; are wearing a Florida T-shirt or Hawaiian shirt , have a really bad sunburn, strong accent, drive really slow, wearing anything Disney, staring at palm trees, and can't stop talkng about how great or how hot the weather is.

I know they are Transplants if they; have a mild accent, talk about the weather often, or talk about their home state comparing it to FL. But almost everyone here is a transplant.

I've seen Alaska in the lower 48 before, but not Hawaii. Unless the plates were transferred to a car here, or the car was imported with the plates attached?
I've seen a few cars with Hawaii plates.

If the person is blonde AND White then most likely they arnt from here. Its VERY rare to see a hot natural blonde girl.

sometimes by the way people dress, sometimes I can pick out Texans or Southerners by the way they are dressed, the majority of locals dont dress descent.

oh and usually the pale skinned people are from the Pacific NW or far up North, they also have a certain way they dress it seems.

If they don't weave in and out of traffic, ride your bumper to the point you can see their license plate or their headlights blinding you in your mirror at night, won't dare try and get past the light before it turns red(and fail miserably), don't know the backroads if you ask them, don't brake when there's an upcoming speed trap, and they let you over when you're trying to get over after yielding, rest assured they are not from here.

In Boulder, it's the ones who are nicely dressed! Boulderites, and not just the students, tend to dress like slobs.

Definitely speech.

If they don't have the typical Okie twang then I know they're from the West (a little of Bil&Ted's or Valley Girl), Midwest (Fargo-ish), or the East (Bronxy/Yankee = and Lord have mercy they speak fast!).

They aren't from here if they say "The Tidewater" instead of just "Tidewater".
