Renovo, PA is at the junction of the Elk Scenic Drive and the Bucktail Trail. There's quite a lot of pedestrian traffic on Friday and Saturday nights. Go up and stay in Yesterday's Hotel (remember that things like bathrooms in every room weren't always standards "yesterday") on a summer weekend and see if you like the vibe. If you don't, you haven't lost much of your investment.

Why, nothing of course.

The reason I said what I did was because of the criteria you gave, nearly all of those things can easily be found virtually any where--with, IMO, the exception of the price you quoted.

Given that price, I don't believe you stand much chance of finding that anywhere--or at least finding it at that place that you'd feel great about living in. However, with real estate prices being what they are I felt your best chances of finding what you quoted would be in the states you excluded. That's all. No dig. No hidden meanings.

However, if they aren't for you, they aren't for you. I really don't care.

I do hope you find what you're looking for! If you can find that $35,000 condo in a touristy town with a non-urban/rap/ghetto youth identity I'd love to know it...

...we could be neighbors!
