This year, temperatures in the Northeast, especially New England region has been remaining well below normal for this time of the year. May and June was a cool, rainy & damp months, while until now mid July, still somewhat rainy and still only mild temperatures.
In New England, temperatures has only reached 50s and 60s, and in Mid-Atlantic only 60s and 70s in JULY! It's 10 - 20 degrees below normal!
For example, New York City's avg. July high temperature is 84, and today was 72!
Boston's avg. July high temperature is 80, and today was 64!
Last year, it was much warmer than this year. Even this year's winter was colder and snowier than usual.
I barely ever used the AC in my house this summer.. that's a plus . It cuts the bill probably by $100
If summers were always like this, than this would be the ideal climate IMO.
Maybe August will bring the heat.. it usually does, hence why it's my least favorite month.

I know, we just moved into our new house and we don't even need the AC. It will make a big difference since we need to save as much money as possible, after paying for this house and wedding on our own. Lately we've been putting the fans on low power. I've even had to close the windows in the middle of the night.
Just before, my fiance and I were at the church where we're getting married. I told him it feels like we're having a September wedding; not a July wedding lol.

Down here in Florida, it's supposed to rain all the time in the summer... but it's hardly rained at all this summer. Hot and dry, very little precipitation.
