My commute is a little over one mile - very close-in Brooklyn to Lower Manhattan. I walk to the subway, have a short subway ride, and then a short walk to work.

About 12 miles or so, but it takes me an hour since I walk, take the subway, and take a bus. Driving would be much faster, but I'd have to pay a bridge toll of $10 RT everyday.
