I was expecting California (largest population)

Or New York (biggest city. This is citydata after all)

I'm a little surprised since I would think a lot of people on this website would live in more urban environments, but Texas does have a very large population, so I guess it makes sense.

I had the same line of thinking, but if you look at any thread, it is littered with Texans pumping up their respective cities.
