Just curious about how many of us here like where we live, hate where we live, and everything in between Me, I'm mostly happy, but sometimes I just want to up and move because I get the travel bug. The weather can get to me (I'm in New Mexico, heh) and the lack of being in a big city...but I love the low cost of living and the air quality and the food and my friends. Win some, lose some.

I would really enjoy a change of scenery (mountains preferably) except that the people around here are fantastic and the food is second to none. SO I suppose I am pretty happy here. I recently took a trip to the Fairfax/DC area and discovered very much where Id most hate to live.

I was there last year and it had the worst traffic I've ever seen. I love DC as a city, but I'd need to make a big enough salary to live in the city itself. Suburbs are not for me.

I hate it so much, I've seen so much in this neighborhood and I'm done, I live in NYC and yet there's nothing good within walking distance, I need a change in scenery and environment than this high crime suburban neighborhood on the outskirts of NYC.

Last year this neighborhood had 28 homicides and nearly 900 robberies which is a lot for a neighborhood with less than 80,000 people.

No winter would make me cry! But I don't like it to stay cold for too long.
