Colorado Rocky Mountains. They are boring and all look alike. I personally did not care for the Grand Canyon. But that is more of a personal thing, lots of people like it - go figure. Monument valley was pretty boring.

Everglades National Park. Flat, treeless and wet. You can find much more natural beauty in FL in the central and northern parts of the state.

It probably isn't even the real rock they stepped on. The collection of trash around the rock doesn't make things better. Way too touristy. The Pilgrim Hall Museum on the other hand was very good and I actually learned something.

Yeah, that's true. What you find there you really can't find in such a concentrated, lit up area in the rest of the country. World, yes, but not the country. You're right though, annoying is a better word, lol.

The rockies range is huge, and from my own view they dont look alike at all. It just depends what you're interests are.

Disney World has to be the absolute most overrated tourist trap in the entire country.

If that's what the previous poster meant when he said Orlando, then he/she is spot on and indeed, 48 million tourists each year are essentially clueless.

It is billed as a dream all children should strive to have, and that each parent should indulge their childrens' dreams by taking them to this place. Even if the place was a great park, those are lofty goals to have to meet. By definition, it is certainly overrated.
