Once you guys realize who are your supreme rulers (Texans) all of you inferior ones will bow down to our greatness; Until than, you guys will live a lie and in denial of our superiority over the rest of you Yankees and Rednecks.

Most (nation)- USA. We're really a bunch of b*ttheads.

If by ego, you mean barely justifiable civic pride, then at least according to Kurt Vonnegut, Texas and New York (City) take everywhere else in the US to task. We simply love where we're from more than the rest of you guys. And, who can blame us? Texas is easily the best state in the US, and NYC is arguably the best city in the US.

So there.

How's that for ego?

Everyone has love for there state. Texans just love to brag about there state a lot, and no one else really cares to hear about it so its annoying. Thats pretty much what having too big of an ego is. We aren't jealous of you guys, we dont think your state is better than ours, we just think you guys can get annoying. I am just as proud to be from Florida, but i dont think im better than everyone else. Everystate is important for different reasons.

No one likes a bragger
