I currently live in a city in Arkansas that is medium sized. While I enjoy living here, I feel that there aren't enough leisure activities or interesting things to do.

I've been looking for a medium sized city that is located within an hour's/ 30 minute drive of a large city with a regional or international airport.

The states that I most want to move to are Washington, Oregon, Minnesota, Wisconsin, or Illinois.

The cities that I've picked so far are Tacoma, WA and Milwaukee, WI. Can anyone suggest any other cities?

I think Milwaukee is a great choice, the city has alot to offer and as a plus you are driving distance to Chicago. Also take a look at Minneapolis.

Minneapolis MN is a fun city.
Bellingham Washington.

Depends on your definition of interesting things to do.

By definition of fun things, I mean seeing live band performances and going to local festivals. I also like to go see movies and go camping/ swimming.
