I have seen many keep mentioning Seattle but he did say not a sports town and they have football, baseball, WNBA basketball, 2 WHL hockey teams, soccer and more.

They are a bit of a sports town.
Seattle is so much more than that, though. It has a great sense of community and would be a terrific place for someone looking for the OP's criteria to put down roots IMO.

Never said it wasn't alot more than just a sports town but when someone says they do not want a sports town, I just thought a town that was very heavy into sports, no matter what other attributes it may have, would not be a good fit.
How can New York City not be a sports town. You have the baseball hall of fame two baseball teams as well as two football teams. Many consider N.Y.C. to the basketball "mecca" of the world.
Damn that sucks thats why I dont want to live there its depressing to me
