Excellent malls for very different reasons. South Coast Plaza for the variety of stores and Fashion Island for the wonderful ambience. I must admit, i'm rather biased as i do love Orange County.

Northpark Dallas is easily the best mall in Texas.

Most stores are the higher end retail outlets. You are not going top find a Hot Topic or many of the other standard mail shops in Fashion Island or SCP.

Can't deny Michigan Avenue. Woodfield Mall is pretty nice as well (as far as store choices go).

Union Square and West Field Shopping mall/area in downtown San Francisco is one of my favorite shopping areas in the country. We have a 5 story Bloomingdales, very upscale shopping with an incredible food court with good local restaurants, not chains. A short walk through the bustling shoping area to Union Square, we have a Barney's, Saks fifth, Neiman Marcus, and many more very upscale shopping with great restaurants.

It reminds me of the Carousel Center here in Syracuse.

The Somerset Collection in Troy, Michigan is amazing.

Not that I can afford Tiffany, Gucci, Louis Vuitton, etc., or would necessarily spend $600 on an umbrella even if I could as I'm very practical, it's fun to browse anyway!
