I'm wondering how many US states have towns in them with curling parlors. I have seen quite a few in British Columbia, but I've never seen one in the US. I've heard there are some in Wisconsin. Does anyone here at City-Data have one in their town?

I like to watch curling when it's on the Winter Olympics, but I think there are few places in the US where it's popular.

Anyway the oldest Curling club in the US appears to be in Detroit. (Although its facility is in Ferndale)

Utica, New York also has an old one.

Bemidji, Minnesota seems to have one of the more successful curling groups in the US. Olympic bronze medalist Pete Fenson was apparently a member.

The US Curling Association might give you more.

There's also these Wikipedia lists.

From what I can tell Michigan, Minnesota, Wisconsin, and upstate New York seem to have the most curling. Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania's club might also be notable as might a few in New England.
