I'm surprised how much the first section, especially downtown, look just like Des Moines, Iowa!

Especially since the two cities are in such different regions.

I think your problem is that you have an image of New York City every time you travel around Hampton Roads. If you compare everything to there, you'll never have any fun anywhere

Light rail cars have been delivered to Norfolk and already on the tracks heading for their home.

Two Light rail cars arrived in norfolk today and are already on the tracks.

This post is a little old, but I forgot to reply before.

I actually can't take a train. I have to be able to drive. At the start of a shift I could get detailed to another fire house and would have to get there as soon as possible. I'd also had a couple giant bags of gear. So as nice as it would be, I don't think it will work with my job.
