Is this a parody?

Hmm there is

Conservative liberalism - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Maybe parts of the Midwest or Rockies have "conservative liberals" who value the traditions of the non-Dixiecrat Democratic Party. Butte, Montana is in a county that's long went Democratic but might be more traditional than many places that are "liberal." Dubuque, Iowa is in a consistently Democratic county but I think is a bit more traditional than some "liberal" places.

Or maybe it would mean a valuing of both tradition and freedom. Maybe parts of New Hampshire or Maine have that as they have some old towns with old traditions.

Pick almost any good size city in America. You'll typically find liberal people closer to the city center and more conservative people on its edges. Gage the friendliness for yourself once you are there.
