I just came back home from USA (spend most of the time Atlanta) and was shocked how many people was texting while driving! That is so dangerous! In Europe, even talking on phone while driving is banned. Would you like texting while driving to be banned?

I think is crazy that people think that they can do both things at the same time.
Your eyes need to be on the road not on your phone. We should learn from that train accident in ca, the engineer was texiting before he crashed. Train engineer was texting just before California crash | U.S. | Reuters I guess he thought it was ok but 25 people died. We have to spot being so careless!!!

Texting while driving should be banned. I think it's worse than just talking on the phone.

It's much worse. Think of it, you're at least looking at the road while talking...but while texting you're usually at least glimpsing down at the phone to make sure you're typing correctly.

Really? I didn't know that. It's hard to tell if someone is texting though; not like it's obvious someone is talking on their cell.

Texting while driving is banned in several states, and in my opinion, should be nationwide. MJay posted the same video I was going to post. I recommend you watch it. It's pretty shocking. There is no text, in my opinion, that is SO important to send that you're willing to risk your life as well as the lives of others while on the road.
