Exactly! Then, people forget that many fees and other costs vary by state too.

Currently 7 states / 40% of American's do not pay income taxes.


States with NO income taxes in Red.
States that tax only interest & dividend income in Yellow.
States that don't have income tax usually have less welfare programs etc. Depending on the person, this trade off can be a great thing or a horrible thing.
