I guess the Pacific Northwest has a fair amount of Vine Maples some of which are kind of pretty in the Fall judging by photos.

In my opinion, The Hudson Valley (downstate NY) rivals virtually any spot in New England.

IMO, the upper Midwest has some of the best displays in the country, especially Minnesota. These shots are from the Lutsen Mountains area of MN:

I agree. Those are some awesome pictures! I've been to MN and it's a nice state anyway.

Pretty much anywhere it gets cold enough to snow :-)

New York is nice because there are several different elevations, so the leaves peak at different times. Obviously the mountain areas peak first (Adirondacks are probably all done by now) but the lower elevations go until the end of October.
