We stayed in MA for almost 10 years but now looks like finally we decided to move out of MA. We can't withstand this cold and dark at 4 P.M in winter.
We are looking for places with warm weather and reasonable cost of living and jobs in engineering as well as in bio-tech. Anyone who relocated from MA, could you please help us.
We looked at Houston, Austin, Sandiego,NC...are there any other places to consider??
Houston is a pit. Don't move here unless you like humidity. San Diego is very nice, but expensive. Austin is nice and parts of North Carolina are very nice but can have humid summers.

Thank you for your quick response. Any other Senior members have any help for this Junior member!!!
I don't understand why people are telling the OP to avoid certain places because they're too hot. The OP is looking for warmth. I left Massachusetts for the same reason and moved to Las Cruces, New Mexico. But there are plenty of places in the Sunbelt with a desirable climate that the OP would like.
Thank you everyone who replied to my post. Please recommend us some more places with sun-belt. The way economy is heading for, we would like to save some money for retirement..so our needs are:
1. Sun belt places.
2. Should be able to find jobs in-case we loose current..both in engineering as well as in biotech.
3. Not that particular about school district but it will good to have one.
4. We are looking for low cost location, as we would like to save some money for retirement..
What about arizona, new-mexico,kansas, missouri, alabama etc we would like to hear more about the places which normally people don't discuss....
Thank you everyone for your help...
