It's a great time to live in Texas, which has 4 cities on the list.

There's a thread about this in the San Antonio forum and I imagine this survey is being discussed in the local forum of just about every city mentioned in the article. You can get the local perspective in those local threads.

I am not an expert of real estate prices but the first city that came to my mind was Washington DC. I would imagine with all the suburbs DC would not make the list. But I would not be surprised if DC has kept most of its jobs the last few years if not have gained jobs for obivous reasons.
