Default Richmond, Virginia: What are your thoughts?

I just love it !!!

People keep bashing Richmond they just are ignorant about it. It has soo much to offer. Great museums, tons of history, great weather, beautiful tree lined streets, lots of great restaurants. Some of the most stunning architecture in the United States. Close to the beach and the mountains, respectively.

I think Richmond, Virginia is the most ideal city to live in.

Discuss.

I agree that Richmond has an ideal location, great history, etc. The only thing I know of that is bad about Richmond is that it doesn't look that attractive from I-95, which is how most people know it. That said, I guess more people (myself included) need to get off the exits.

Thats true. But what city looks good from the interstate anyway?

There is one side of Richmond that is very industrial with old tobacco warehouses. But even a lot of those are being renovated into nice flats.

The Fan District is really right unique. Rows of Victorian Rowhouses and Monument Ave has all the statues and the large mansions.
