Can't say I'm surprised about the list. Texas has been making some huge strides to become the leader in clean alternative energy and Houston in particular.

Good to know a lot of those new, big homes in fast growing metros are energy efficient. Nice to see TX, as well as other sunbelt locations, building so many of energy efficient homes.
