I would like to know if anybody has or knows were I can get similar data on projections for COUNTY populations...and specifically were people will be moving in from and out to.


Example...Essex County, NJ....what is it's porjected population in 2025/2030/or 2050...and what are the top 5 counties in-migrants will come from and flow out to?

In my business in Pennsylvania I often have need to find county and municipal-level (in PA a municipality is way sub-metro, meaning an individual township, borough, or city) projections. The sources for these seem not to come from the US Census Bureau itself but from either The Pennsylvania State Data Center or county/regional planning agencies.

You can find this kind of info at the source . . . the Census Bureau's website: Census Bureau Home Page. The drawback is that there is a lot of material here, so it can be difficult to find the page you want. It's often more useful to do a search at the website (for example, using a term like "county population projections" for the info you want) than to go by the table of contents, because the table of contents can lead you all over the place among the many pages at the website.
