The resort complexes in Argentina in the Andes - Bariloche is probably the largest and it's Vail sized. There are many locations in Argentina that could handle winter or summer Olympics, and it's considerably more developed than the rest of Latin America, but - given the economic mess they went through a decade ago, I don't think anyone there would want the bother.

Houston isn't on the bidding list for the 2020 olympics.

Dallas 2020

For the US, I like Chicago or Seattle. I'm not too keen on Dallas or Houston (although they are big enough to deserve to host). Tulsa's potential bid is laughable. Seattle is pretty close to Vancouver, upon further thought. In 2020 I think Africa deserves to be the hosting continent.

Detroit. You all ready have so many venues, winter OR summer! The nearby towns would be great as well. Pontiac has the Silverdome, which is dying for use. Many others from downtown to Auburn Hills scream "PLAY IN ME!"

Oh that sounded naughty.

Oh behave lol.

I think Detroit would be great. Everyone's so down on it, that place could use some good publicity. Maybe if they're really lucky they can turn a profit, and if they make a really good show of it, maybe they can attract business and people and stuff. Not that Detroit doesn't already have alot, but you know what I mean.

I'd love to see the olympics in Minneapolis! If they got community support, I'm sure they could handle it.
