That's what I think too. Which is why, IMO, Chicago would be a better location than NY. In Chicago, there are numerous empty lots just west of and south of the downtown, as well as blighted structures that could be acquired and torn down easily. The same thing just does not exist in NYC. It would end up being either the Bronx Olympics or the Rockland County Olympics, or the NJ Olympics.

I would love to see a NYC Olympics. Most facilities already exist (and by the time of the actual event most will need to upgraded anyway. The main stadium can be built on Wards Island or Flushing Meadow park.- Similar to the London Stadium, (downsizable after the games).
Javitts Center, Meadowlands, MSG,
Rowing/Canoe/Kayak at Flushing or Princeton, NJ
Equestrian/Sailing on Long Island

A crazy suggestion, but why not Atlanta? We could probably handle it.

Wow, classy response...and overdone/overused by people who have no idea what they are talking about.

Atlanta actually hosted a very successful Olympics, but the media gave the city a hard time - and a lot of people drank the Kool-Aid.

I didn't think it was possible, but you have outdone your "stank" response. Your attempt to be offensive is noted.
