Wisconsin should just annex Chicago and Minneapolis/St Paul. Chicago was originally planned to be part of Wisconsin and Minneapolis/St Paul is really close to the Wisconsin border. That would change the answers here a bit.

lol yeah, I think adding, what, 12 million people to Wisconsin and the two largest metro areas in its neighboring states would probably change the answers just a bit...

Chicagoans and Twin Citians are the two groups of people who hate Wisconsin most in the whole world. I don't think you'll find that many of them will take kindly to your suggestion that they pack up and join them.

Chicagoans LOVE Wisconsin - what are you talking about? They can't wait to get off work and drive north. I'm sure any native Chicagoan here will back this up. Never met a Chicagoan who didn't like the cities (especially Milwaukee, but often Madison as well), either. We're a playground for 'em.

However, the love doesn't necessarily go the other way, especially in tourist areas.

Minnesota is a different deal - Twin Cities folks seem to like to rip on Wisconsin (and Iowa, and the Dakotas), but most people in Wisconsin live on the east side of the state and don't pay much attention to 'em outside of Vikings games.
