Well, actually I was just curious if there were any statistics about the eye colors in America.
There's tons of threads and statistics about race, so I thought maybe there were some about eye colors.
Probably I should've been more specific with the thread title. Unfortunately I cannot change it.

That's reportedly a map of blue-eyes in Europe. I can not find one for green eyes or for the US. I'm a bit concerned looking might get me to some white-supremacist or Aryan Nations type place.

Going by that the Finns, Swedes, and Baltic states appear to have the most blue or "light" eyes. (Lapland is apparently low on this, but I don't know how many from Lapland came to the US) So Minnesota and Wisconsin might be high as they have many towns with high Swedish, Finnish, or Latvian ancestry. Brown eyes are the most common eye-color and would likely be most common in places where Northern European ancestry is relatively rare. So likely Hawaii and New Mexico are high in brown-eyes. Possibly Louisiana too as it's largely French, African, and Italian. As with before this is something of a guess, but it seems like an educated guess.

I come from an italian family and I have blue eyes; I guess i'm a freak of nature It must be the irish/swedish influence in me that caused the blue.

Well Northern Italians I think have a fair amount of blue-eyes albeit less than Northern Europeans. Also I think all you need is to have both your parents have a blue-eyed ancestor and carry the trait. There are apparently African Americans with naturally blue-eyes as African Americans are usually, but not always, of mixed ancestry somewhere down the line.

My mom's side of the family is from southern Italy, and all have brown eyes. Her dad was Irish and had very blue eyes, who they say I probably got it from.

A coworker of mine is black and from Jamaica. She said she has family who lives in England who are also black and have blue eyes. She told me it was because the Jamaican side mixed with the English side.

I think my eyes are technically gray, but I always say green. Then can change to Hazel if I wear red.

I'm black with hazel eyes that sometimes look more golden brown or green, they also have a rusty colored tint around the iris. My youngest brother has darker hazel eyes, and my Grandfather has green eyes. I know quite a few blacks with light eyes, they are still in the minority of course.
