I'm a mix of British, Scottish, German, and Cajun French (a European mutt basically) and have blue eyes.

My eyes are very, very dark brown, almost jet black. They literally look like a giant pupil.

Apparently blue eyes are becoming alot rarer in the US. In 1900-1930 like it was nearly 50%, now something like 20%!

I hate mine. No one ever tells you that your "black" eyes are beautiful, they just say "oh...that's different". But whatever...
Truly black eyes are as rare as red eyes. Most people who have 'black' eyes (including myself) have dark brown eyes that just look black from a distance.

My eyes are light blue in the center then on the outer edge its more of a dark blue and in the middle I have a really pale blue ridged-circle (kind of like the shape of a reeses cup but larger ridges.) and random people always tell me I have pretty eyes.
