I agree, I'd like to see rational opposing views also. I stopped giving money to the MN DFL in the 90s after the "Phonegate" scandal. The behavior of the party faithful in reaction to that scandal sickened me. I never have and probably never will vote Republican, as their views are so far apart from mine. I usually vote DFL, but I do not have much faith in the DFL when it comes to ethics (not that the Republicans are any better in that department!)

San Francisco, Boston and New York are hands down the most liberal places in the US.
