This is why I give to the Homeless because by the grace of god or the work of the devil I could easily be homeless with no where to turn to but begging.

Why do people give money to homeless?

A: Because they feel bad for them and they are what I like to call Naive aka stupid.

I generally don't like doing this. Just from observing and experience with doing some volunteer work, I've found the aggressive ones to be the addicts and scammers. The "down on their luck" type of people seem to be ones not begging, but collecting bottles & metals or generally being resourceful.
