I act nonchalant about everything.

LOL

- I don't have a driver's license. I don't have the great varieties of shops that our NYC posters are writing about, but I do shop at (and walk home from) my local grocery store.

- I take the bus to work.

- Occasionally, I see homeless people. And they might ask me for $1 for the bus.

- I will hang out at a locally owned business downtown, instead of at a chain establishment in the suburbs.

Double park, honk my horn a lot, go out on weekdays, tailgate while driving, drive through alleys for shortcuts.

I get lost anytime I ever have to drive in the suburbs.

This thread seems to be a "list random things you do". Many of these things aren't "urbanite" things.

Take a bus, train and walk as my form of transportation.

Walk to do errands and go to the grocery store.

Work on the 30th floor.

Live in a rowhouse that is 130 years old, walk/ride bike everywhere, park illegally, park in alleys, go over to my buddies rooftop deck. Take the train to Chicago, yell out my window at people being noisy.

Not own a car for over a decade of my adult years. Take taxis/subway everywhere and walk to the grocery store. Walk a lot. Live in a silly tiny apartment but stay because I like my crazy landlord who doesn't raise my rent. Don't feel bad about renting even though I have a decent job and make okay money. Frequent delis. Frequent the corner pub for neighborhood gossip. Vote at the corner pub (only once thankyouverymuch).
