I was only there for 4 months, mid-January to mid-May, but I loved my time in Florence, Italy.

I studied abroad for a year in Buenos Aires, Argentina and that is my favorite place so far. My overall second favorite, and 1st favorite in the US, would have to be New York City.

Knoxville, Tennessee was a FABULOUS place to grow-up. Great people with lots of Southern Hospitality and the beauty of East Tennessee is beyond compare.

Also, South Ventura County (Thousand Oaks, Moorpark, Santa Rosa Valley), California The people are much more down to earth without as much of the typical SoCal me-first-how-do-I-look-what-am-I-driving-and-is-my-address-acceptable
attitude. And, BTW, they have the highest per capita income of cities over 100,000 in SoCal - just not the tudes.

North East suburbs of Louisville KY. I loved the rustic feel some of suburbs had between all the new developments. La Grange Road from Lyndon to Pewee Valley has to be one of the most scenic suburban roads anywhere.
