I think they already have the "metroplex" terminology....and I assume that will be sufficient.....

Those who say Fort Worth would never let it happen is a good place to start. The two are so different from each they become a typical east is east and west is west.... they'll never meet.

Should such a thing occur a good name might be that one is already recognized universally... DFW, a name ready for the 21st century.
