If Oakland moves I hope they change the name. How about the Los Angeles Sharks LOL & then we could have a Dolphin vs Shark Superbowl LOL
I think we will all be long gone from this world before the Raiders(Sharks) even get close to being in the Super Bowl again.

I think they just used San Antonio along with Charlotte to gain leverage. They didn't really think about moving to any other place. I could be wrong.

I think Jerry Jones feels he "owns" the entire Texas market (Houston Texans notwithstanding)... so he will certainly stand in the way of any NFL team going to either San Antonio or Austin. Since he's a pretty influential owner, I think he'll be successful in that endeavor when it comes down to it... so IMO we won't have an NFL team as long as he's around.

The way things are going, I bet Toronto would get an NFL team before LA does, LOL. It's mind-boggling to me that the second largest city/TV/Radio market still does not have a football team after 16 years! I wonder if the Chargers have ever considered relocating to LA? It wouldn't surprise me, but I doubt that would go over well.

I'm no fanatic of it *hangs head*, but I knew there have been rumblings about the Chargers heading up I-5 to LA, but I didn't know if it was speculation or if it was something being seriously considered.

I have heard that the Chargers are one of the few teams that can move without a lawsuit threat though. If this were to happen, maybe they could compromise and move to Anaheim or Irvine?

The latest article I read off of NFL.com cited some reasons why the Jags won't be going to LA. The minor problems are financing the stadium and the team both, they would have to raise the tax's for the residents of LA to pay for both, because the financiers are losing money due to the economy.
The next problem is that the Jaguar's owner is not interested in relocating or even selling his team. LA, has offered that he keep ownership of the team for another 2 years after relocating to LA, and he refused that offer.
I don't know what he's planning to do with his team, since it has the poorest attendance rates out of any NFL team, but whatever it is that he's thinking is keeping the Jaguars from relocating to LA.
The next thing is, LA might show more interest in the Chargers, because after every season their lease with the stadium and the city of San Deigo expires. There have been many lawsuits in the past, because the team claims the stadium is inefficient, but SD claims that they don't need a bigger stadium because that would cause them to lose more money than to gain. The Charger's are one of the top 4 teams that LA has shown great interest in.
It's a possibility, but even this one looks slim for LA, because they proposed building a new stadium for the Chargers, and since that's been settled, SD won't be giving them up after building a brand new stadium for them.
The highest chance LA has is with the Chargers, because the other problem with the Jaguars is that, the man who is looking to buy them, he owns a casino in Vegas. NFL strictly prohibits that, you cannot own a casino and an NFL franchise concurrently. And that man had just happened to be LA's largest financier.
Basically LA is going to have a very hard time getting a team to relocate to there, and the NFL has stated no interest in any new expansion teams for the near future.
