Lower crime rate? Higher literacy rate? More nigh life? Better economy?

All I can say about Minneapolis, is that I hope we get our light rail expanded even more. Also, please let the Vikings win a super bowl.

More investment. For a long time, the only people interested in Youngstown's progress had no money. And, those who had money were only interested in investing in the suburbs. But, that's starting to change as more people begin to see the city as a viable option for their investment dollars, and I hope it continues.

Get DC homicides to a level not seen since the 1950s.

2009 saw the lowest murder rate since 1964, so as the economy gets better, I think it could very well be possible.

I am hoping for a better economy for my city and state. I am wishing that the unemployment rate would go down. We've got a lot of homeless in this state. I hope something could be done about that problem.

Same here and a change in the attitudes of many locals that should realize that things aren't nearly as bad as they think around here.

I hope Phoenix continues to redevelop its downtown. Light rail and infill of restaurants and stores and a new park has made a great start - especially in a down economy - but I hope Phoenix continues to build inward rather than continue to sprawl outward.
