In the old movies they had men clubs where they sat around in tuxedo and made no sound drinking, smoking and reading. do they still have men clubs like that now?

Some parts of the country still have those. I used to go to one in NC. I went to smoke my cigars and swap stories. I have not been able to find one down here in San Antonio though.
Here in Australia they still do. There are elite men-only clubs and women-only clubs. There was a campaign recently by the Attorney-General to end their right to operate as such. But he was not supported in this quest, even by the Labor party, which are Left-leaning and you'd think would be all for ending "discrimination". So these clubs continue here. I have no problem with it. But then I have little interest in joining either the men's one or the women's one. Sounds too snooty for me.
I think those declined because they were deemed sexist.
Although there are male-only organizations, and even a few all male colleges, so maybe they have clubs. Wabash, Morehouse, and Hampden-Sydney are the three surviving men's colleges so they might have clubs. The Knights of Columbus is limited to men and they have centers.
Looking some more the Bohemian Club of San Francisco seems to be all-male. The Alibi Club of DC appears to be men-only. Mostly these kinds of clubs seem to have become open to both genders in the 1970s and 1980s. This is likely less true of all-women's clubs, from what I can tell there are perhaps more of those, as women need "solidarity" or something and excluding men isn't sexist somehow.
