I know that every housing authority is different, but was there a new requirement for all of them that a client can't have an arrest (no conviction) for assault of any kind? What about a civil restraining order? Does anyone know the secret Section 8 voucher rules?
There probably is a statute of limitations on criminal records after so many years,I believe here in Florida it is 5 years after a criminal offense(Misdemeanors) until you can put in for Section 8 Housing. I believe a lot of these places won't allow felony charges.
