Hawaii beats everything else. California and Florida are tied for me. Florida for water temp and clarity, and California for backdrop and waves. As for sand...is it really a big deal?

California, West Coast baby!!!!!! Born & raised!!!!! We have the best beaches like La Jolla Cove, Venice, Santa Monica, Capitola, San Diego's beaches, Santa Cruz, & the list will go on and on.. So definitely Cali's beaches!!!

Beaches that are swimmable? Outside the continental U.S.: Hawaii; In the continental U.S.: Florida. Most photogenic beaches? California.
