I haven't been to a lot of those areas. Of the ones I have been to, the DC area seems the worst to me. Chicago would be a close second.

Chicago is pretty bad. All the taxi drivers seem to have agendas.

I've been in the traffic of Houston, Chicago, Miami, and Dallas. NEITHER one of those cities touch the DC area. None of them. DC is just another beast on itself when it comes to traffic.

surprised boston doesn't have more votes, although providence is MUCH worse. you take your life into your own hands when you head south on I-95 through providence... so many sharp turns, potholes & bad drivers of course, all of whom are going 80+ mph easily. going north into providence isn't as bad because there's always traffic, so i guess it's safer...

miami/ft. lauderdale/west palm beach has gotta be the worst though. too many new englanders, retirees and tourists. and the roads are all very wide with many lanes, which some people aren't accustomed to.
