Today I was driving down Chicago Avenue, in Minneap, and several of the huge potholes where so big I could see more than a couple old cobble stones.

It seems to me that dodging all these potholes should be a winter Olympic sport. Does anyone else have any horror stories of deep potholes?

This is not really an appropriate topic for General U.S., and honestly the topic of road conditions in context of comparison to other places has also in the past been done already in the city-vs-city room as well. So we'll need to let this rest.
