U.S. Major Cities with best interstate highway connections? (best city, move)

pretty much what the title says above...which major U.S. city in your opinion has the most efficient interstate highway system in the United States. My votes would go to Indianapolis and St. Louis unquestionably....these two cities serve as major crossroads in the United States. You can get just about anywhere in the country with these cities in 2 days or less without having to change interstate routes very much because of the efficient connections. For St. Louis, I-64 easily connects to the southeast and east, I-70 to the northeast and east, I-55 to the northeast and north, I-70 to the west and northwest, I-44 to the southwest, I-55 to the south. Indianapolis is linked to the west and southwest by I-70, to the northwest, west, and southeast by I-74, to the north/northeast by I-69, and to the northwest/north and south/southeast by I-65. Cleveland also has a very good highway system. I-80 and I-90 link Cleveland to the east, southeast (where I-80 meets I-76 and you can take that southeast...it's fairly similar to the I-64 I-57 I-24 set up for St. Louisans to go to the southeast) and northeast and west and northwest, I-77 links Cleveland due South, I-71 links Cleveland southwest. Chicago and New York are obvious givens. So tell me the cities you think have the best interstate highway connections?

Cleveland rocks! Ohio Turnpike just nearby.
Also: Columbus has I-71! Who needs a direct freeway connection to Detroit when you can go to Cleveland!

But enough Ohio jokes. Indy and St Louis are on the top of the list. You can go anywhere from there. Uh, I take that back, St Louis needs a freeway to Des Moines.

I would throw in nominations for Chicago and Cincinnati, but they are nowhere near as interconnected as Indy. You can get out of Chicago ... by sitting in traffic and/or paying tolls.

St. Louis has Avenue of the Saints to get to Des Moines. That's about as fast as an Interstate connection.

I think Denver needs to have an interstate highway paralleling U.S. 40 to Salt Lake City and thus to I-80 thus giving a more direct route to San Francisco and areas northwest of there on I-84, and to Seattle using I-84 W to I-82W to I-90W before I could say Denver is the best city with interstate highway connections. I guess the current set-up isn't so bad right now. you only have to drive about 100 miles north to from Denver on I-25 Cheyenne to get on I-80...not that bad at all.

Indy isn't too bad. I'd put it in the same category as Louisville, which I also believe has great freeway access.

Toledo is one of the best: I-80, I-90, and I-75. I don't know if any city other than Chicago (with 4) has as many major 2 digit (X0, X5) expressways.
